I have not owned a BCA complete rifle I have owned everything else, lowers, complete uppers, etc I currently have a BCA 7 62x39 10 5" upper It has been flawless Every manufacturer in the world has quality issues Some more, some less BCA is known for a few more than others For a budget build, i don't see why not to use them If they have what you want at a price you need, get it

However, it is light So, if that matters most, I’d go that route You can also go Tippmann I also did a pistol on a standard AR lower with a right to bear 4 5 upper and 22lr bolt carrier I have an adapter, thinks it’s called Catch-22 that let’s one use 15-22 mags in the standard lower I like the 15-22 mags better than CMMG or Black Dog because of the side button
